Hydraulic power units for trash compactors & balers
Hydraulic trash compactors, vertical presses and balers: constant hydraulic power for intensive compaction cycles.

Industry needs and our answers
Constant compaction force
Bale quality and cycle safety depend on repeatable pressure: relief valves factory-set to the required value.
Heavy intermittent duty
Compactors work in bursts: S3-duty motors and pumps chosen for the actual cycle avoid overheating without wasteful oversizing.
Harsh environments
Dust, moisture and leachate: protection classes, surface treatments and steel reservoirs designed for recycling yards and back-of-store installations.
Mains or battery
Stationary 230/400V AC compactors and 12/24V DC on-vehicle units: both architectures, from the same component platform.
A real case: Power packs for waste compaction, in two versions
Built to the customer’s specification, matching a reference unit: the same base with a 1.5 kW single-phase motor that runs on a standard mains supply, and two different pumps.
| Motor | 1.5 kW 4-pole, single-phase 230 V 50 Hz, S3 (both versions) |
|---|---|
| Version A | 6.03 cm³/rev pump, 93 bar maximum: more flow, faster compaction |
| Version B | 2.6 cm³/rev pump, 210 bar maximum: more compaction force |
| Reservoir | plastic |

Frequently asked questions
What hydraulic power unit does a trash compactor need?
It depends on ram force and cycle time: required pressure sets the relief setting, speed sets pump flow. With those two inputs we configure motor, pump and reservoir for the actual duty cycle, and the configurator on our Tools page gives an instant first answer.
Do you supply small batches and prototypes for balers?
Yes: we start from a single prototype and scale to series production with the same BOM and full ISO 9001 traceability.
