Single or double acting
A dump body lowers by gravity (single acting); liftgates and plows are powered in both directions (double acting): the right circuit comes from the function, not from a catalogue page.
On-board space and weight
Space between chassis and body is tight: horizontal and vertical layouts, made-to-measure reservoirs and compact manifolds to fit where needed.
Currents and wiring
At 12V currents run high: properly sized contactors, pendant or radio controls and clear wiring guidance cut failures and service calls.

What hydraulic pump does a dump trailer need?
A standard dump trailer takes a 12V single-acting unit: pump flow is chosen from the desired lift time, and the lowering valve controls the gravity return. We supply the complete unit with reservoir, ready to wire.
